Job Title: Rural Healthcare Family Medicine/ Internal Medicine Physician

Location: Palo Verde Hospital & Community Clinic (Blythe, CA)

Schedule: Part-Time (2-3 days per week)

Hours: Clinic Hours 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM + daily on-call for hospital admissions

Position Overview:

Palo Verde Health Care District is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) Physician to join our healthcare team! In this role, you will serve as both a primary care physician at the Palo Verde Hospital Community Clinic, providing comprehensive healthcare services to our rural population, and as the admitting physician for Palo Verde Hospital on days you are scheduled. This unique position not only offers the chance to deliver essential primary care in an underserved area but also to play a crucial role in patient admissions, ensuring access to vital medical services for our community. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in the Rural Health Clinic (RHC).
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
• Act as the admitting physician for patients requiring hospitalization.
• Be available for on-call duties to respond to hospital admissions and emergencies outside of regular clinic hours.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Continuously stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the State of California.
• A strong commitment to rural healthcare and a desire to serve the local community.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team.
• Dedication to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
