Hospitalist Medical Director | Leadership + Clinical Practice + Physician-Led Organization | 1 Hour South of Atlanta

Core Clinical Partners is seeking a Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our program at Upson Regional Medical Center. This is a full-time, W-2 leadership role that combines clinical practice with protected administrative time.

We are open to candidates with prior Medical Director experience, physicians currently in an Associate Medical Director role, or high-performing hospitalists ready to step into their first leadership position. This role provides a hands-on leadership opportunity with real influence over operations, team culture, and program performance.

• 115-bed community hospital
• Average daily census: ~30
• 10-bed open ICU with tele-intensivist support
• 1 Day Hospitalist Physician (7a–7p)
• 1 Day NP/PA (7a–7p)
• Dedicated Nocturnist NP/PA (7p–7a)
• EMR: Meditech Expanse

Role Overview

• Lead and support hospitalist physicians and APPs
• Blend of clinical shifts and dedicated administrative time
• Flexible scheduling structure based on leadership responsibilities
• Partner with hospital administration on quality, staffing, and operations
• Work closely with Emergency Medicine leadership to support patient flow and admissions

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Prior Hospital Medicine leadership experience required
• Eligible for Georgia medical license
• ACLS required
