Primary Care Physician — Build a thriving practice in lakefront Community right outside of Charlotte, NC

M.L. Best Consulting has been retained by our client — a nationally recognized, physician-led health system in a hyper-growth stage — to recruit Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians for a rapidly expanding primary care practice in the Lake Norman area, a highly sought after lake community on the outskirts of Charlotte, NC. Join an established, growing patient base and help shape what comes next.

What you'll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan — hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity and weight management, respiratory and cardiovascular conditions, behavioral/mental health, and more
• Deliver comprehensive preventive care — screenings, immunizations, wellness visits, and ongoing chronic disease management
• Partner with APPs and clinical staff for efficient, high-continuity care
• Collaborate with specialists across the network for coordinated treatment
• Contribute to program development, quality and safety, and service-line growth as an ambassador for primary care in the Lake Norman community

What we're looking for

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (MD or DO)
• Eligible for or holding North Carolina licensure
• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset motivated by innovation and clinical excellence
• Preferred: interest in program development/leadership, focused clinical interests, or community-practice experience
