Excellent Internal/Family Medicine Physician Opportunity at Harrisonburg, Virginia CBOC

We are seeking Board Eligible or Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians for our outpatient Primary Care clinics and at the Martinsburg, West Virginia VA Medical Center. This position is located at the Harrisonburg, Virginia Clinic.

Basic Requirements:

• Primary tour of duty will be Monday – Friday, 8:00am -4:30pm; Fulltime Providers are required to work 40 hours weekly.
• Only when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy, Non-citizens may be appointed.

• Degree of Doctor of Medicine accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) for the year in which the degree was granted OR

• An equivalent degree from a school of osteopathic medicine approved by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association for the year in which the degree was granted.
• For foreign medical graduates not covered in the previous 2 bullets above, facility officials must verify with the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) that the applicant has met requirements for certification and must obtain a copy of the ECFMG certificate. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
• Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.

**Major

Duties include, but are not limited to:**

• Provide comprehensive Primary Care to a panel of patients within a continuity of care clinic, utilizing face-to-face encounters and Telehealth visits.
• Lead a PACT (Patient Aligned Care Team) consisting of one physician, one RN, one LPN, and one administrative staff member
