Urgent Care Physician | $175/hr + Productivity Bonus | Federal Loan Forgiveness Eligible

Southcoast Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physician to join our esteemed Urgent Care team in Fairhaven, MA. You will contribute to a tradition of practice excellence and play a pivotal role in advancing patient care in our community.

Financials & Benefits

• Pay Range: $175.00 /Hr.
• Incentives: Productivity-based incentives and opportunity for relocation assistance/sign-on bonus.
• Hours: 24 hours per week.
• Shift: Days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Rotation: Every other holiday and every other weekend required.
• Location: Fairhaven, MA.
• Time Off: 4–5 weeks’ vacation plus a generous Earned Time Off package.
• CME: One week of paid time off plus a Continuing Medical Education allowance.

Role & Responsibilities

• Treat a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries for both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Perform a wide range of clinical skills and minor office procedures, including:
• Sutures and I&D.
• Reduction and splinting of fractures and dislocations.
• GYN examinations.

Qualifications

• Education: Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Certification: Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Licensure: Current state medical license and DEA registration.
• Health Requirements: Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 (or sign a certified exemption statement for medical or personal reasons upon hire).
• Skills: Demonstrated clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and effective communication skills.
