Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

Core Responsibilities
Direct Patient Care
- Administer and prescribe treatments, medications, and immunizations.
- Discuss potential side effects of treatments with patients and families.
- Promote health through education on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Conduct physical exams for school, employment, or insurance eligibility.
- Manage referrals to specialists and follow up on high-risk/emergency cases.
Clinical Administration & Diagnostics
- Review and record medical histories, allergies, and immunization status.
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests, images, and lab reports.
- Document all visits, diagnoses, and plans of action in patient files.
- Stay current with organizational goals and clinical best practices.
- Manage professional communications (email, mail, and voicemail) promptly.
Team & Quality Support
- Collaborate with care teams to improve overall patient health outcomes.
- Build patient confidence through courteous, accurate, and helpful behavior.
- Assess staff training needs and support developmental activities.
- Contribute to departmental goals and maintain professional staff relationships.
Requirements, Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Doctorate in Medicine (MD/DO).
- Licensure: Active California Medical License in good standing.
- DEA: Current California DEA licensure (must be maintained).
- Certification: Current AHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) with in-person skills check.
- Expertise in Family Medicine with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication, including composition and proofreading.
- Ability to interpret complex instructions (written, oral, or diagram).
- High level of ethics when handling confidential patient information.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as a team.
