    Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

    Core Responsibilities

    Direct Patient Care

    • Administer and prescribe treatments, medications, and immunizations.
    • Discuss potential side effects of treatments with patients and families.
    • Promote health through education on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention.
    • Conduct physical exams for school, employment, or insurance eligibility.
    • Manage referrals to specialists and follow up on high-risk/emergency cases.

    Clinical Administration & Diagnostics

    • Review and record medical histories, allergies, and immunization status.
    • Order and analyze diagnostic tests, images, and lab reports.
    • Document all visits, diagnoses, and plans of action in patient files.
    • Stay current with organizational goals and clinical best practices.
    • Manage professional communications (email, mail, and voicemail) promptly.

    Team & Quality Support

    • Collaborate with care teams to improve overall patient health outcomes.
    • Build patient confidence through courteous, accurate, and helpful behavior.
    • Assess staff training needs and support developmental activities.
    • Contribute to departmental goals and maintain professional staff relationships.

    Requirements, Qualifications & Skills

    • Education: Doctorate in Medicine (MD/DO).
    • Licensure: Active California Medical License in good standing.
    • DEA: Current California DEA licensure (must be maintained).
    • Certification: Current AHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) with in-person skills check.
    • Expertise in Family Medicine with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Strong verbal and written communication, including composition and proofreading.
    • Ability to interpret complex instructions (written, oral, or diagram).
    • High level of ethics when handling confidential patient information.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as a team.
