About Jefferson City Medical Group
In 1993, a group of Jefferson City physicians set out to build something different—an independent, physician‑owned partnership that expanded access to care while keeping clinical decision‑making where it belongs: with the physicians who know their patients best. They believed independence fuels innovation, strengthens patient relationships, and keeps healthcare cost‑effective and community‑focused.
That vision became Jefferson City Medical Group. Today, JCMG is one of Missouri’s largest independent, physician‑owned multi‑specialty groups, with nearly 100 providers across more than 30 specialties caring for more than 70,000 patients each year. Physicians who join JCMG practice with true autonomy while benefiting from the support, stability, and collaboration of a large, established group.
Most JCMG providers practice in the JCMG Medical Building—offering patients the convenience of comprehensive, one‑stop care—along with additional regional clinics in Jefferson City, Linn, Columbia, and Fulton. Patients and providers also have access to on-site ancillary services and our state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center. It’s a model built for physicians who want independence, meaningful impact, and a long‑term home for their practice.
