Locum Fam Med - Dec - April | Full scope coverage | Rural hospital in Montana

We are seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine physician interested in covering a full scope in a critical access hospital locum tenens position. 

Location: Northeast Montana

Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract

Date Range: December 15th, 2025 - April 1st, 2026

Schedule:

• Clinic 2 days per week
• 12-15 ER shifts per month

Compensation:

• Direct Care: $180.00 - $200.00/hour
• On-Call: $100.00 - $120.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Patient Volume, Clinic: Averages 12-15 per day (max of 6 patients on days when you're also covering the ER)
• Patient Volume, ER: Averages 2-3 per day
• Call: On ER shift days, on-call 24/7 for ER, Inpatient & LTC
• Staffing Mix: Nursing staff 24/7

Position Requirements:

• Active Montana State MD/DO License
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS
• Active DEA Registration 
• Minimum 2-years of remote Solo/CAH experience
• Primary Care and ER Skills required
• Must be able to work as a Solo-provider
