Weekend Surgery Moonlighting - Flexible Scheduling - Slower Paced

Are you looking for a slower-paced moonlighting opportunity with flexible scheduling and no minimum shift obligation? We are seeking General Surgeons to provide occasional weekend coverage at a small hospital in North Carolina.

Position Details:

• Shift Hours: Friday 5pm - Monday 7am (option to start Thursday at 7am)
• Typical cases: lap chole, lap appy, I&D, occasional exploratory lap and small bowel resection
• No trauma cases
• Work with a small, welcoming community that offers a slower pace and the time to get to know your patients

Dedicated telehealth providers deliver inpatient and outpatient care, improving patient access, and optimizing staff physician allocation. Additional programs include collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers across all specialties, annual peer reviews, and medical directorship agreements to support partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient psychiatric care programs.
