Job Highlights
We are seeking General Surgeons to do call shifts in 25 bed Critical Access Hospitals in Nebraska.
14 on 14 off...no relocation required.
This is not locum work; this is ongoing employment.
You can live where you want but work with us if traveling to the location for 2 weeks at a time suits your lifestyle.
Compensation is $2800 per shift = $509K pr yr
Housing is provided while on call/No relocation required, live where you want.
Schedule: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
Required: upper and lower endoscopy work...along with all bread-and-butter general surgery cases.

Compensation Details
$509K
$2700 per shift plus $100 per shift for travel = $2800 per shift 14 on/14 off ongoing Lodging provided while on call $1400 extra per shift for Holiday pay Opportunity to work autonomously and serve rural community Variety of cases Brief Description: Critical Access hospital located in Southwest Nebraska providing comprehensive primary care services to our region with a personal touch. TVHS has a robust specialty provider arrangement providing extensive orthopedic and pain management services. Labor and delivery services (including c-sections) provided by primary care team. Community Size: Primary catchment approx.: 6,000 Secondary approx.: 10,000 EMR System: Meditech Expanse Bed Count: 20 · # of ICU beds: No designated ICU, have two monitored rooms with good capabilities. Number of Operating Rooms: 1 OR, 1 Procedure Annual ED Volume: Approx: 1,300 Average ED Call Volume per week: 1-2 per week ( complete estimate, as we are not providing this service currently) Inpatient Coverage Model: RPG hybrid Anesthesia Coverage: 24/7 CRNA coverage (single provide at a time) Wound Care Coverage: Daily dressing change nurse available (non-certified). Weekly outpatient clinic with certified nurse and trained family practice physician.
