Quick Facts

• 10 days per month with 24-hour on-call coverage
• 6 - 8 patients per day with 3 - 4 consults
• 3 - 4 surgeries per day in busy facility
• Emergency general surgery and trauma procedures required
• ATLS, PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• Expect 10 - 20 hour work days
• Orientation provided prior to coverage start
