Acute Care Surgery Per-Diem Opportunity with UNC Rex in Raleigh, NC

North Carolina Surgery at Raleigh is actively seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Acute Care Surgeon to join their practice. This is a per-diem position within a well-established, community-focused surgical practice providing high-quality care to adult patients across a broad range of general surgical needs.

Position Highlights
* Per-diem, inpatient acute care surgery role
* Rotating 12hr Shifts- either 7a-7p or 7p-7a
* Physician is expected to stay in-house during their shift, with no outpatient presence.
* Depending on the needs of the service and physician availability these may be weekday, weekend or Holiday shifts

Qualifications
* MD or DO from an accredited medical school
* Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery
* Active North Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain)
* BLS and ACLS certification
* Experience preferred with interest in acute care procedures

Education Requirements:
* Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* DEA;MD
* BLS
Professional Experience Requirements:
* Prefer prior hospitalist experience.
