Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a collaborative and high-performing cardiovascular team. This physician will provide comprehensive interventional cardiology services, including diagnostic cardiac catheterization, coronary interventions, and inpatient/outpatient cardiovascular care. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular disease and related conditions
- Perform interventional cardiology procedures including angioplasty, stenting, and cardiac catheterizations
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac imaging studies
- Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, hospitalists, and advanced practice providers to coordinate patient care
- Participate in STEMI call coverage and inpatient consultations as required
- Provide outpatient clinic care and follow-up for cardiovascular patients
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
- Contribute to a collegial, team-focused culture dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the applicable state
- Strong clinical and procedural skills in interventional cardiology
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
