OB/GYN Opportunity near Albany, NY - No Call, Flexible Schedule

Ellis Medicine Bellevue Women's Center has been providing exceptional care to women and infants in New York's Capital Region for more than 80 years. Located in Niskayuna, just outside Albany, the hospital's recently renovated and expanded maternity center delivers approximately 2,600 babies annually.

The Women's Center features comfortable labor, delivery, and recovery suites, a dedicated Cesarean section operating room, a Level II Special Care Nursery, and maternal-fetal medicine services for high-risk pregnancies. The program is designed to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This Hospitalist Position Offers:

What Does an OB Hospitalist Do? 

• Manage OB/GYN emergencies and urgent patient needs  • Deliver babies and provide inpatient obstetrical care  • Evaluate and treat triage patients  • Collaborate with community physicians and healthcare teams  • Perform surgical procedures and surgical assists as needed  • Care for unassigned patients

• Support quality and safety initiatives within Labor & Delivery  • Provide leadership and clinical expertise on the unit

Requirements 

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
