    The Opportunity

    OB Hospitalist Group (OBHG) is seeking OB/GYN physicians to join the hospitalist program at OhioHealth Marion General Hospital. This role offers the opportunity to focus exclusively on inpatient obstetric care while enjoying a predictable schedule, strong clinical support, and excellent work/life balance.

    As an OBHG Hospitalist, you’ll serve as the in‑house OB expert collaborating with nursing staff, hospital leadership, and community physicians to ensure safe, high‑quality care for every patient.

    Hospitalist Responsibilities

    • Care for all pregnant patients presenting emergently
    • OB triage evaluation and treatment
    • Labor management and vaginal/operative deliveries
    • ED consultations
    • Surgical procedures and surgical assists
    • Postpartum care
    • Management of unassigned patients
    • Support for private practice OB/GYNs
    • Education and support of nursing staff
    • Participation in resident and medical student education
    • Emergency drills, simulations, and quality initiatives
    • Development of best practices and participation in clinical trials
    • Facilitation of interdisciplinary board rounds to enhance patient safety
