Neonatologist Opportunity in New York's Finger Lakes Region

Pediatrix Medical Group is looking for a talented physician to join their team at Arnot Ogden Medical Center (AOMC) in scenic Elmira, New York! Imagine working in a region renowned for its stunning wineries and majestic waterfalls – the beautiful Finger Lakes await!

As a Neonatologist with Pediatrix at AOMC, you'll be part of the only regional perinatal center in the market. This facility offers comprehensive women's health services, including MFM services, and houses a robust 20-bed, Level-III NICU. Our unit averages 1,500 deliveries per year with nearly 300 NICU admissions and maintains a daily census of 13-15. We handle approximately 15-20% of our admissions as transports from surrounding counties, providing diverse and challenging cases.

You'll appreciate working with 24-hour, in-house NNP coverage, who also manage transport calls, attend high-risk deliveries, and assess critically-ill newborns in the NICU. Our services include conventional ventilation and HFOV. You'll be supported by excellent nursing staff and have access to a range of pediatric sub-specialty support for consults and in-house services.

Required Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatrics.
• Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• New York License (or willing to obtain).
