Seattle Children’s Hospital is hiring a Pediatric Hospitalist for its Olympia Regional Team. In this role, you are a full Seattle Children’s staff member stationed at a regional partner site to provide top-tier pediatric care to the South Sound community.
The Role at a Glance
This position is designed for physicians who want the prestige and backing of a top-ranked pediatric system while practicing in a high-acuity community setting. You are the "Seattle Children's expert on the ground," managing a diverse clinical load that spans from the delivery room to the inpatient ward.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Inpatient Care: Manage pediatric floor patients using Seattle Children’s clinical pathways.
- Level II Nursery: Provide specialized care for newborns >32 weeks.
- High-Acuity Management: Lead interventions including high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), continuous albuterol, and insulin drips.
- Emergency & Delivery: Provide pediatric consultations in the ED and attend high-risk deliveries.
