How you'll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
* Join an established team of 5 neonatologists and a highly-trained multidisciplinary NICU support team
* Call structure: 1:5 with plan to move to an NNP Program with 4 NEO and NNP's covering night call
* Practice setting: Inpatient (Level III NICU)
* Access to a 32-bed unit equipped with advanced therapeutic modalities (therapeutic hypothermia, jet ventilation, high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, and NAVA), a dedicated NICU Transport Team, and robust pediatric subspecialty support
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
* Provide advanced clinical management for critically ill newborns within a state-of-the-art Level III NICU, collaborating closely with a comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine program and dedicated hospital-based pediatric subspecialists.
* Actively participate in regional clinical quality improvement (QI) initiatives and lead the intermittent clinical education and training of medical and physician assistant students.
* Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine required

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
