    A growing specialty surgical practice in New York is seeking Physician Assistants (PAs) to join its expanding clinical team. Opportunities are currently available in both Breast Surgery and Neurosurgery, offering the chance to work closely with experienced surgeons in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

    These roles provide exposure to outpatient care, surgical assisting, and inpatient management, with strong clinical support and opportunities to develop specialized expertise.

    • Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations in collaboration with the attending surgeon
    • Assist with patient education, treatment planning, and follow-up care
    • Manage patient communications, prescription refills, and care coordination
    • Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the electronic medical record (EMR)
    • First-assist in the operating room across a range of surgical procedures depending on specialty
    • Provide post-operative care, including wound management, dressing changes, and drain management when applicable
    • Participate in inpatient rounds and discharge planning as needed
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including specialists, nursing staff, and care coordinators
    • Participate in case discussions, quality initiatives, and clinical collaboration
    • Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
    • NCCPA Certification
    • New York State PA license (or license-eligible)
    • DEA registration
    • BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
    • Prior experience in surgical specialties preferred, though new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply
    • Strong communication, organization, and patient-centered care skills
