Medical Oncology Locums - Maryland | Flexible 4-Day Option

Aya Locums is working with a Medical Oncology program in Maryland looking for ongoing coverage beginning in January 2027.

The preferred schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM, but the client is willing to consider a four-day Monday-Thursday schedule. The practice averages approximately 10-15 patients per day and focuses on general Medical Oncology in an outpatient cancer center setting.

The physician will have strong onsite support, including a Nurse Navigator, pharmacy attached to the clinic, and experienced research staff.

​

There is evening phone coverage associated with the assignment, but the volume is typically light - approximately 1-2 virtual consults per evening. Calls after 9 PM are generally held unless emergent. Weekend phone coverage is currently about once every three weeks.

The client is willing to assist with licensing, so an active Maryland license is not required to begin the conversation.
