Are you an Oncologist passionate about expanding care to rural and underserved communities?

You will serve as a clinical and community leader—helping build and expand the cancer center’s presence and reputation across the region.
You will work alongside a dedicated care team with access to cutting-edge therapies, precision medicine, and clinical research opportunities.
$400k-$500k + Bonus Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of adult patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
- Deliver oncology care through a hybrid model of telemedicine and in-person visits.
- Manage the full course of oncology care including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including surgery, radiation oncology, radiology, and pathology—to deliver coordinated, individualized patient care.
- Participate in tumor boards and case reviews to support optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR and follow clinical, legal, and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and program growth within the oncology service line.
- Serve as a clinical leader and resource for nursing, pharmacy, and support staff.
- Engage in community outreach and partner with local physicians to support early detection and prevention.
- Build strong referral relationships and collaborate with hospital and marketing leadership to support patient volume growth.
- Provide feedback on operational processes and help identify opportunities for new programs that enhance access and patient experience.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification in Medical Oncology (and/or Hematology) by ABIM.
- Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) or willingness to obtain.
- Active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in state(s) of practice.
- Minimum of 3–5 years post-fellowship clinical experience preferred.
- Experience managing a broad range of solid tumor and hematologic malignancies.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Prior experience in community-based oncology or multi-site cancer care preferred.
- Familiarity with value-based care models and clinical pathways is a plus.
- Technology-savvy and comfortable practicing in a hybrid care model.
