About Our Hospital and Health System

Sovah Health-Danville is a 250 bed hospital located in Danville, VA and is part of Lifepoint Health. We are the most comprehensive source of healthcare in the Dan River Region of Virginia and North Carolina. The hospital provides more than 25 medical specialties and 14 surgical services to the community and is home to Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residency programs.

• Join employed Hematology/Oncology and Radiation/Oncology physicians, with APP support
• Common Oncology scope breast, prostate, lung, colon, head/neck
• ACOS-CoC accredited
• Weekly tumor board meetings and clinical trial programs
• Aria Oncology information system
• Averaging 25-30 per day
• 100% remote telephone shared call coverage (low call volume)
• 95% outpatient clinic
• 10 infusion chairs
• Staffed with navigators, pharmacist, pharm tech, lab tech with lab draws in office, phlebotomist, office manager, clinical director (shared with radiation oncology)
• Hospitalist group admits
