Role Overview Beebe Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Breast Surgical Oncologist to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for benign and malignant breast diseases. As a key member of our oncology service line, you will lead the surgical management of breast cancer, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and drive the growth of our NAPBC-accredited breast program.

Key Responsibilities & Clinical Scope

• Advanced Surgical Care: Perform expert surgical procedures including lumpectomy, mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, axillary surgery, and risk-reducing procedures.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Lead and participate in Multidisciplinary Tumor Boards alongside radiology, pathology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and genetics.
• Standards of Excellence: Ensure strict adherence to NCCN, NAPBC, ASCO, and Commission on Cancer (CoC) guidelines.
• Procedures: Demonstrate proficiency in stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
• Program Leadership: Contribute to clinical research, clinical trials, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain top-tier accreditation standards.

Required Qualifications & Education

• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in General Surgery.
• Fellowship: Completion of an SSO-approved Fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology (or Surgical Oncology with significant breast volume).
• Licensure: Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Delaware.
• Expertise: Demonstrated mastery of evidence-based breast cancer treatment and surgical techniques.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience working within an accredited Breast Center.
• Strong interest in clinical trials and oncology research.
• Commitment to a collaborative, team-based practice model.
