Join Advocate Health as a Breast Surgical Oncologist Physician (Medical Director) for the breast program at Advocate Christ Medical Center with an accredited breast fellowship in Oak Lawn, IL—part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the country. Advocate Christ Medical Center is a nationally recognized 788-bed tertiary care medical center and Level I Trauma Center located in Chicago's leading southwest suburbs. As Director of the NAPBC accredited Breast Program, the appointee will lead the future direction and growth of the Breast Program from a clinical and educational perspective. This role includes succession planning by the current medical director and opportunity for direct mentorship until their retirement, as well as joining a group of two other breast surgeons.

• The Breast Surgery Division has 3 surgeons, including 5 dedicated APPs
• Teaching
• Call 1:3 (Monday-Friday); Weekend call is covered by Fellow with MD for needed support
• Ample support services including Integrative Medicine, Genetic Counseling, Nurse Navigators, Social Workers and Chaplains
• Medical Oncology with Infusion Center onsite, Radiation Oncology and dedicated Breast Imaging Center on the same campus
• Ultrasound if needed and aspirations
• Lead a busy NAPBC with recent 3-year approval
• Opportunity to lead an accredited Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship
• Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer clinic weekly
• Integrated Network Cancer Program Accredited

Training and/or Experience Required

• Fellowship training
• Five years minimum of experience required
