Plastic Surgeon– San Diego, CA- Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group (SRSMG)

Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking a board-certified, fellowship-trained Plastic Surgeon with Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand to join our established, physician-led multispecialty group in San Diego.

This is a highly specialized, predominantly reconstructive practice with a strong focus on breast reconstruction and limb salvage, supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary cancer care team.

• Full-time within an 800+ provider, physician-led multi-specialty group
• 4-day work week (~34 clinical hours)
• ~25 patients/day outpatient volume
• 1:3 call, week-long blocks
  • Weekend call limited to Sharp Memorial Hospital (SMH)
• Dedicated OR access with blocked time for cases
• Microsurgical breast reconstruction
• Oncologic and trauma reconstruction
• Limb salvage
• Minimal cosmetic component

You will play a key role in advancing our breast reconstruction and limb salvage programs, working closely with breast surgical oncology, general surgery, and multidisciplinary cancer teams. Strong institutional support includes nurse navigators, survivorship programs, and a Commission on Cancer (CoC)-accredited system committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

• Board Certified – American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
• Fellowship training required
• Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience
• Interest in program development and clinical leadership strongly valued

Total Compensation Range: $474K – $710K+ (base + productivity + incentives) Compensation is subject to the individual department/division compensation plans. More information is discussed during the recruitment process.
