  • The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) at Phoenix Children’s is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join our growing and nationally recognized program.

    This position is primarily based at one of our satellite outpatient locations (Arrowhead or East Valley), providing high-quality, family-centered hematology and oncology care in a community-based setting. The role also includes inpatient service responsibilities at the main Phoenix Children’s campus (approximately 6–8 weeks annually), ensuring strong integration with the broader division and continuity of care across settings.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive outpatient care in pediatric hematology and oncology at a satellite clinic location
    • Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of benign hematologic disorders and pediatric malignancies
    • Deliver longitudinal care, including survivorship and supportive care
    • Participate in inpatient service at the main campus (approximately 6–8 weeks/year)
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
    • Engage in quality improvement and program development

    Qualifications

    • MD or DO degree
    • Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
    • Eligible for Arizona licensure
    • Strong commitment to clinical excellence and teamwork

    The CCBD at Phoenix Children’s is one of the largest pediatric hematology/oncology programs in the Southwest, with over 50 providers and a strong presence in clinical research, subspecialty care, and programmatic growth.
