How you'll make an impact in this role
This is a premier opportunity for a highly skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join our established team at Ascension Medical Group Via Christi. Lead life-saving procedures, benefit from a strong referral base, and utilize the full clinical resources of a robust, mission-centered health system.
* Join a highly-skilled and expanding cardiology team of 10 physicians (General, Interventional, and Cardiac Electrophysiology) and 17 dedicated Advanced Practice Providers.
* Call structure: Favorable 1:6 call schedule.
* Practice setting: Mix of inpatient and outpatient care, operating out of a remodeled clinic space with close proximity to the hospital.
* Dedicated primary cath lab access at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, serving all 3 Ascension Via Christi Hospital locations.
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system with academic affiliation through the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita, offering teaching and mentoring opportunities.
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.
* Perform a broad range of complex coronary and peripheral interventional procedures.
* Collaborate with a highly experienced heart care team to advance our integrated cardiac service line.
* Completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship is required.

What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
