Best Consulting has been retained by our client — a nationally recognized, physician-led health system — to recruit a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiologist for a rapidly expanding practice in the Lake Norman area. Join an established team, established demand, and a clear runway for growth.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, evaluate, and manage the full spectrum of cardiovascular conditions — coronary artery disease, valvular and adult congenital heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathies, PAD, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and other cardiometabolic disorders
• Manage arrhythmias — atrial fibrillation, heart block, pacemaker management and device follow-up
• Perform and interpret non-invasive diagnostics — echocardiography, stress testing, ECG, and ambulatory rhythm monitoring
• Lead preventive cardiology — lipid, hypertension, and weight-management strategies plus risk-factor modification and patient education
• Partner with APPs, nursing, and network specialists, with streamlined access to advanced imaging, EP, interventional cardiology, and cardiac surgery for consult and referral

What we're looking for

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Eligible for or holding North Carolina licensure
• Preferred: interest in program development/leadership, subspecialty growth, or community-practice experience
