University of Rochester Seeking a Director of Heart Failure Program

The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center, is seeking a nationally recognized leader in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology to serve as Director of the Heart Failure Program.  The successful candidate will join a collaborative, highly accomplished team and will serve as the central leader of advanced HF, transplant, and mechanical circulatory support initiatives. Work in close partnership with our surgical directors and the medical directors of heart transplantation and ventricular assist devices. Join a team of 9.2 AHFT cardiologists, 12 outpatient APPs, transplant RNs.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO; Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
• Eligible for New York State medical license.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical and leadership experience in advanced heart failure and transplantation.
