How you'll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Cardiologist to join a high-volume, employed practice with a robust internal referral base and the comprehensive diagnostic resources of the Ascension Saint Agnes cardiovascular network.
* Join an established team of 8 physicians and 7 APPs
* Call structure: 1 week every 4-6 weeks
* Practice setting: Outpatient and inpatient
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Lead comprehensive patient care journeys by balancing a dedicated outpatient practice with essential inpatient rounds to ensure continuity of care from the clinic to the bedside.
* Deliver life-saving diagnostic insights through the expert performance and interpretation of TTE, TEE, and nuclear stress tests to guide precise treatment plans.
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
* Board Certificaiton in Echocardiography preferred
* Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
