General Cardiologist – Locum - Massena & Potsdam, NY

National Staffing is seeking a Board Certified General Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity supporting outpatient cardiology services and hospital consult coverage in Massena and Potsdam, NY. This position offers a consistent schedule with a focus on outpatient cardiology, stress test supervision, and inpatient consult support.

Position Details

• Specialty: General Cardiology
• Location: Massena & Potsdam, NY
• Start Date: ASAP (pending credentialing)
• Contract Length: 6–9 months
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Coverage: 3 weeks per month
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient cardiology evaluations and follow-up care
• Supervise cardiac stress testing
• Manage adult cardiology patients in clinic setting
• Provide hospital cardiology consult coverage as needed
• Participate in occasional on-call coverage (4 PM–8 AM) to fill coverage gaps
• Interpret cardiac imaging studies when available, including:
  • Nuclear stress testing (preferred, not required)

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Cardiology
• Active New York medical license required (license in hand)
• Epic EMR experience required
• AHA or RQI certification required
• Strong general cardiology background
• 5+ years experience preferred
• Board certification to read cardiac imaging studies preferred
