  • The Brown University Health (BUH) Cardiovascular Institute, part of the faculty practice program for the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University, continues to seek exceptional candidates to support its rapidly expanding multidisciplinary Cardiology program. Regional expansion of the health system and increasing demand in southeastern New England have resulted in vigorous growth across a newly expanded, multi‑hospital regional network. With the addition of two hospital systems in Bristol County, Massachusetts, the Brown University Health’s footprint now spans six hospitals, 1,400 beds, and a referral base of 50+ cardiologists. This position would be based at Rhode Island Hospital and the Miriam Hospital with outpatient office nearby.

    About the Job:

    • Join a team of 50 cardiologists (all cardiovascular sub-specialties) and 30 advanced practice providers
    • Teaching opportunity as Faculty on the hospital teaching services
    • Weekend call 1:7
    • Night call is 1:15 (light from home)
    • Strong team of dedicated support staff including APPs, RNs, Medical Assistants, and Secretaries
    • Clinical activities include ambulatory practice, cardiac noninvasive testing, and inpatient cardiac consultative services
    • Academic appointment at the Warren Alpert Medical School, Brown University.

      About You:

    • Board certified or eligible in Cardiology
    • Training in cardiac noninvasive imaging
    • A track record of excellence in teaching and patient care in an environment that fosters diversity and inclusion.
