Position: Full-Time Non-Invasive and Non-Interventional Cardiologist

The Sioux Falls VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time non-invasive and non-interventional cardiologist to join our esteemed medical team. This role will involve providing consultative services and developing treatment plans for the management of veterans across various care settings, including outpatient, inpatient, Community Living Center, and emergency departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiograms.
  • Interpretation of ECGs, Holter and event monitor recordings, and transthoracic echocardiograms.
  • Conduct and interpret treadmill, pharmacologic, nuclear, and echocardiographic stress tests.
  • Be available for urgent assessments and consultations as part of the patient care team.
  • Perform Cardioversion procedures.
  • Review pacemaker/AICD transmissions and adjust settings accordingly.
  • Coordinate care at VA and non-VA referral centers for patients requiring advanced cardiac services not available within the facility.
  • Utilize telemedicine modalities to enhance patient care.

Work Schedule & Benefits:
