Non-Invasive Cardiologist Needed - WI

We're seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive/General Cardiologist for a long-term locum opportunity in Wisconsin! This is an inpatient-only position with excellent APP support and a consistent 7-on/7-off style schedule.

Position Highlights:

​

Start: November 2026

Contract: Ongoing through January 2028

Schedule: 7-day blocks (Monday 6:00 AM – the following Monday 7:00 AM)

Day Coverage: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Includes one weekday overnight call and one weekend overnight call per 7-day block

2 hours gratis

Practice Details:

​

Inpatient general/non-invasive cardiology service

Round alongside 3 APPs with support from intensivists, RNs, and cardiac imaging technicians

Average daily census: 7–22 adult patients

EMR: Epic

​

Responsibilities:

​

Inpatient rounding

EKG and echocardiogram interpretation

Stress test interpretation (treadmill, nuclear, and stress echo)

Holter/event monitor interpretation

Management of chest pain/ACS, heart failure, hypertension, dyslipidemia, atrial fibrillation, valve disease, and other general cardiology conditions

Supervise APPs as part of the inpatient team

Requirements:

​

MD/DO

Board Certified in Cardiology

General Cardiology fellowship required (Cardiac Imaging preferred)

Wisconsin license (or willing to obtain)

BLS & ACLS

DEA required

Minimum 2 years of experience

Comfortable supervising APPs
