Cardiothoracic Surgery NP / PA

• Prior CV/CT experience is preferred
• Vein harvesting experience is required
• Surgical experience required
• Will support 2 cardiothoracic surgeons
• APP will assist with inpatient and outpatient services including office visits, consults, discharges, and rounding
• ​
• Provide the highest quality health care services including prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and education to patients with cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular disease.
• Well-established private practice group with established referrals that are known for their focus on the high quality of care and focus on patient care.
• APP support.
• 250 bed regional facility offering a broad scope of services
• Alaska Regional Hospital has over 1000 employees and a medical staff of over 550 independent practitioners.
• The hospital is the designated Shriners clinic facility in Alaska, and free immunization clinics are held monthly for area schoolchildren. 
• Alaska Regional is the only non-military hospital in the state with its own landing strip, allowing the hospital’s LifeFlight Air Ambulance to transport critical care patients from the plane directly to the 24-hour Emergency Department. Alaska Regional even offers free valet parking to patients and visitors.
