University of Toledo – Department of Neurology

The Department of Neurology at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences is seeking a passionate Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding patient care while teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in a highly supportive academic environment.

Our department proudly delivers comprehensive neurological services to the NW Ohio and SE Michigan community and maintains a strong commitment to advancing neurologic education and clinical research in areas such as movement disorders, cerebrovascular disease, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in neurology.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in departmental conferences and clinical research activities.
• Develop and conduct research grants and proposals.
• Adhere to departmental policies, quality improvement initiatives, and all safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with federal and state regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MD or DO with successful completion of an accredited Neurology Residency (and fellowship, if applicable).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible with the expectation to achieve certification.
• Meets institutional qualifications for appointment as Assistant Professor or higher.
