  • The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is seeking candidates for a faculty position in Genetics. The individual will share in the diagnosis and care of pediatric and adult patients and in clinical education. We are open to faculty with a wide variety of interests and are especially in need of physicians with biochemical/metabolic training and ability. Leadership opportunities are available and applications from physician-scientists are also encouraged.

    A successful applicant will be joining a team consisting of physicians, advanced practice providers, genetic counselors, a genetics clinical laboratory team, and bench research investigators. The applicant is expected to be board-certified or board-eligible in medical genetics and have a commitment to patient care, research, and trainee education. The applicant will have a faculty title in the College of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma and work clinically at Oklahoma Children’s OU Health.

    The division provides care through an inpatient consult service in addition to the outpatient genetics clinic. This growing division also has responsibilities for and opportunities for involvement with the following domains: education (pre-professional students, residents, and other specialty fellows) and research.
