About the Job
The MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Medical Oncologist to provide comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care within a multidisciplinary academic and clinical environment. The candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage patients with solid tumors and/or hematologic malignancies, utilizing evidence-based therapies, clinical trials, and collaborative care models. This role integrates clinical excellence, academic engagement, research participation, and education, consistent with the mission of MedStar Health and Georgetown University School of Medicine.

Qualifications
Required:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology fellowship
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology (or Hematology/Oncology)
- Eligible for medical licensure in Washington, DC
Preferred:
- Interest in serving an under-served patient population
- Experience in an academic or academic-affiliated cancer center
- Interest in clinical research
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered, team-based care

Compensation Details
$308-504k
The hiring range is the range MedStar Health, in good faith, believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
