Hematology Oncology Locum Tenens Opening in Southern VA

Opportunity Details

Medicus is collaborating with a cancer center in southern Virginia that has an opening for a Hematologist Oncologist to assist their team with locum tenens coverage.

Opening Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 4 days per week
• Light call requirement
• Setting: Outpatient
• Patient Volume: 15+ per day
• 1 round of consults in the morning and 1 round in the afternoon
• Case Mix: 60-70% hematology, 30-40% medical oncology
• Support Staff: Additional physicians, RNs, social worker, etc.
• EMR: Meditech and Aria
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
