Assistant/Associate Professor – Classical Hematology

The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology/Oncology at UConn Health are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Hematologist to join our growing academic practice. We are looking for an enthusiastic clinician or physician-scientist with expertise and interest in Classical Hematology. Depending on the candidate's interests and expertise, there may also be opportunities to participate in the care of patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a physician to help shape and grow the Classical Hematology program within an expanding academic cancer center while developing a practice aligned with their clinical and scholarly interests. The successful candidate will join a collegial division that values collaboration, work-life balance, and physician autonomy while providing the resources of a major academic medical center. The position offers the opportunity to build a rewarding academic career within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Candidates with interests in clinical, translational, or investigator-initiated research are encouraged to apply. Faculty are also expected to contribute to the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.

The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center is home to nationally recognized programs in Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Gynecologic Oncology. Our research enterprise includes strengths in cancer immunotherapy, cancer prevention, cancer genomics, and cancer cell biology. Located on our campus, The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine provides unique opportunities for collaboration in translational and precision medicine research.
