Step into a high-impact colorectal surgery role offering advanced minimally invasive and robotic techniques, academic engagement, and the opportunity to shape surgical care within a mission-driven health system.
* Join an established, collaborative surgical team within a high-volume hospital and affiliated outpatient sites, with strong multidisciplinary oncology and GI support services.
* Practice setting: Saint Agnes Hospital and local ambulatory sites
* Access to open, laparoscopic, robotic, and single-port robotic platforms
* Lead an integrated surgical practice by providing expert outpatient consultations and inpatient surgical interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care from the initial office visit through hospital recovery
* Drive diagnostic excellence by interpreting specialized studies in the Anal Physiology Lab to create precise, evidence-based treatment plans for complex colorectal and pelvic floor conditions
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery required
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
* Experience with minimally invasive and robotic colorectal surgery strongly preferred; exposure to single-port robotic techniques is highly desirable

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
