The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, Jackson, MS is seeking a full-time Physician - Neurologist, board certified or board eligible, to join our expanding clinical practice. We are fully committed to providing top quality medical care by serving and honoring America's Veterans.

Candidate must possess MD/DO from an accredited institution, have completed residency training to board certification, and possess an active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State or territory.

Additional requirements:

  • Board Certified in American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
  • Three to five years specialized experience in Neurology.
  • Experience working in an academic setting with Neurology patients.
  • Experience administering Botox.
  • Experience in interpreting neurology studies such Electroencephalogram (EEG) and Electromyography (EMG).
  • Assist with the educational/research goals of our sister institution (University of Mississippi Medical Center).

Compensation Details

$285-310k

Highlights of this opportunity: * Potential starting base salary range: $285,000-$310,000 * Daily schedule: Monday-Friday 8am - 4:30 pm * (off tour call) * Paid Time Off: 50-55 days per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and possible 5 days paid for CME) * No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting * Recruitment/Relocation Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): May Be Offered to Highly Qualified Candidate VA offers an exceptional benefits package for physicians, including paid time off, affordable health, life, vision, dental, and long-term care insurance, up to 12 weeks of paid paternity/maternity leave, malpractice insurance that includes tail coverage, and more.
