Psychiatry - Emergency and Consult Liaison Clinical Moonlighter

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles has outstanding opportunities for Contract Psychiatrists (per diem / moonlighting) in Emergency Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences.

Specifications

We are seeking candidates that are committed to excellence in compassionate patient care, open to continuous learning and are effective communicators who thrive in team-based settings. Responsibilities include provision of psychiatric consultations in the Emergency Department and Medical Center.

Per diem day shifts are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Per diem night shifts are 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Our programs include: General Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, Transplant Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Women’s Health, Psycho-Oncology, Health Psychology and Neuropsychology.

Qualifications

Minimum position requirements include a medical degree from an accredited medical school and board certification (or eligibility) in Psychiatry. Candidates must have or be eligible for an unrestricted California medical license and meet the requirements for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Medical Staff membership. Candidates must have inpatient or psychiatry consult experience within the past two years of submission of their application
