General Description:
Mindoula is a population health management company that identifies and supports individuals with complex behavioral, medical, and social needs. Using technology to “scale the human connection,” we help health plans, systems, and providers extend their reach and meet value-based care goals.
We are incubating a new program and seeking an entrepreneurial clinician to lead clinical care delivery and interdisciplinary teams as the program launches and scales.
As Clinical Lead, you will drive clinical excellence and integrate multidisciplinary teams. Working with the Program Operations Director and VP of New Initiatives, you’ll develop evidence-based workflows, monitor program metrics, and improve member outcomes. This role blends clinical expertise, leadership, and strategic execution to launch and grow the program effectively.
Clinical Program Design & Implementation:
- Develop and implement evidence-based clinical workflows.
- Provide clinical oversight to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
- Align clinical and operational workflows for optimal results.
- Use data to guide protocols, interventions, and program updates.
Interdisciplinary Team Leadership & Training:
- Serve as clinical dyad to the Operations Director.
- Deliver direct care and review cases to support the care team.
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff.
- Design and lead training programs on protocols and best practices.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of the clinical workforce.
Quality & Performance Improvement:
- Establish and track clinical quality and outcome metrics.
- Collaborate with analytics to define SMART metrics and refine care models.
- Implement tools to assess clinical efficacy and member progress.
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, and value-based care standards.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as primary clinical liaison to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with medical, tech, and data teams to improve workflows and engagement tools.
- Collaborate with MCOs to align interventions with performance benchmarks.
Scaling & Expansion:
- Help develop a scalable clinical model for multi-market use.
- Capture lessons from pilot phases to guide future implementations.
Education & Work Experience:
- MD/DO with board certification in Psychiatry required; dual certification in Family or Internal Medicine preferred.
- Must be licensed (or license-eligible) in one or more Mindoula states; support provided for credentialing.
- Experience with SMI/SPMI populations and relevant program development.
- 5+ years in behavioral health, integrated care, or population health.
- 3+ years in clinical leadership managing interdisciplinary teams and quality initiatives.
- Experience with MCOs, value-based models, and healthcare reimbursement.
- Proven ability to launch or scale clinical programs in healthcare settings.
Skills Required:
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to apply data insights to improve care.
- Expertise in integrated behavioral and physical healthcare.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency with EHRs, care management tools, and analytics platforms.
- Deep understanding of SDoH, care coordination, and community resources.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on clinical work in a dynamic environment.
