The Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center seeks a psychiatrist to join our growing, collegial, and multi-disciplinary team currently comprised of ten psychiatrists and five APP's focused on providing exceptional care to our veterans. Opportunity Information:

Carry an outpatient caseload seen face to face or via telehealth; at times it may be necessary to provide care for patients at our community-based outpatient clinics, usually via telehealth;

Staff our walk-in acute care clinic as scheduled;

Cross-cover our inpatient consult service and inpatient psychiatry service when needed;

Obtain and maintain an academic appointment at the University of Washington School of Medicine's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences;

Supervise senior resident caseloads and participate in residency program activities as requested by the residency training program. Commensurate reductions in clinical responsibilities will be provided;

Supervise residents on call and round on our inpatient ward and consults on call weekends, frequency is approximately 1 in 10 or less;

Conduct chart reviews for professional practice evaluation and other requests as assigned;

Compensation Details

$250-300k
