Psychiatrist Position Summary: The Psychiatrist will play a key role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of mental health conditions while partnering with therapists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and advanced practice providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Psychiatrist Responsibilities: Psychiatrist Qualifications:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish accurate diagnoses.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based psychiatric care.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications while monitoring patient progress and treatment effectiveness.
- Evaluate, monitor, and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and ongoing care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate behavioral health services and ensure continuity of care.
- Consult with primary care providers and other specialists to support integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Participate in peer reviews, quality improvement initiatives, and medical staff meetings.
- Provide clinical supervision and collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, or other Advanced Practice Providers as appropriate.
- Maintain all required medical licenses, DEA registration, board certification, and continuing medical education requirements.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active (or eligible for) state medical license.
- Active DEA registration or ability to obtain before employment.
- Experience treating patients with a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
- Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and medication management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.

Compensation Details
$275K–$400K
•$275K Base Salary + Outstanding Production Incentives – High-performing psychiatrists routinely earn significantly above base compensation through a generous productivity model. •Predominantly Outpatient Practice •Focus on Patient Care – Dedicated Medical Assistants and two scribes help minimize documentation and administrative responsibilities. •Physician-Friendly Benefits – Up to $10K relocation assistance, paid Indiana medical licensure, $7,500 CME allowance, tail malpractice coverage, generous PTO, and comprehensive benefits.
