Part-Time Psychiatrist

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team and provide exceptional mental health care to our community. This position offers a consistent daytime schedule allowing you to make a significant impact while maintaining personal and professional equilibrium.
Schedule:
- Standard Hours: 20 hours per week
- Shift: Primarily daytime hours
- Weekend & Holiday Work: Required as needed to ensure continuity of care
- On-Call: On-call commitment is required
In this role, you will be a vital part of our multidisciplinary team, responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing medication management. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose mental health disorders.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, adjusting as necessary.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to our dedicated team of mental health professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Current, unrestricted state medical license.
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-focused care.

Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
