The Salisbury VA Health Care System is actively seeking a full- time Psychiatrist for the Charlotte Health Care Center. Position Highlights:

• 8:00am -4:30pm, Monday-Friday
• Call Coverage: At home, phone call 10-12 days per year.
• Must have 2+ years of leadership and supervisory experience.
• Optional weekend inpatient coverage for additional pay
• Requirements:

· Board Certified/ Eligible

· Have a full, unrestricted medical license in any State.

· Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.

· Residency Training must have been completed, approved by the secretary of Veteran Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.

· U.S. Citizenship: non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.

· Must have 2 years or leadership and supervisory experience.
