AndHealth, LLC
Rheumatologist in Indiana (80%+ Virtual, No RVUs, No Call)
Indiana
Job Highlights
Join AndHealth as a Rheumatologist and practice in a care model built around patients, not throughput. You'll care for people with complex autoimmune conditions who often wait months for a rheumatology appointment, as part of a multidisciplinary team.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT
- No RVU-driven volume. Your schedule centers on new patient evaluations, consultations, and your own panel.
- Prior authorizations are handled by our team, not you. Patient Navigators and RNs manage care coordination.
- Practice at the top of your license. APPs and Clinical Pharmacists support routine follow-up and medication management, with your oversight of escalated cases.
- Hybrid flexibility. Virtual care combined with periodic in-person sessions at Community Health Center partner sites.
- Physician leadership. Report to our Chief Medical Officer, with opportunities over time to help shape protocols and care programs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Evaluate and consult on complex inflammatory arthritis and systemic autoimmune conditions.
- Build individualized treatment plans that integrate medical therapy, lifestyle, and social drivers of health.
- Provide oversight and mentorship to APPs and Clinical Pharmacists.
- Grow a patient panel over time, shifting from new patient access toward longitudinal management. AndHealth provides referral, partnership, and operational support.
QUALIFICATIONS
- M.D. or D.O.; Board Certified in Rheumatology
- ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship
- Active, unrestricted Indiana medical license (or willingness to obtain); active DEA and BLS
- Comfortable with telehealth and in-person care; periodic travel to partner sites
- Preferred: complex rheumatology experience and experience mentoring APPs
- Required immunization and health clearances
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base salary plus a variable component tied to panel performance, including patient experience and clinical outcomes
- Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) match, and more
