AO Multispecialty Clinic
Build Your Practice in an Underserved South Carolina Market | > $400K | 4-Day Clinic Week
Aiken, SC
Job Highlights
Immediate Patient Demand
AO Multi Specialty Clinic is expanding rheumatology services in Aiken, South Carolina, a growing community with very limited rheumatology access and substantial unmet patient demand.
A rheumatologist joining us should be able to build a busy practice quickly while choosing the patient volume and practice style that fits their goals.
You will have autonomy without practicing alone. Our established physician-owned regional group includes rheumatologists and medical oncologists in nearby Augusta and North Augusta, along with APPs, infusion services, pharmacy support, and more than 250 team members.
Flexible Practice Model
• Full-time: 4 clinic days + 1 administrative day • Part-time and customized schedules available • Primarily outpatient practice • Physician-controlled scheduling templates • Clinic hours approximately 8:30 AM–5:00 PM • Build your patient volume to the level you prefer • Regional rheumatology support and cross-coverage • Modern infusion and specialty medication infrastructure
Compensation & Benefits
• Full-time compensation exceeds $400,000 • Potential to earn significantly more with higher productivity • Part-time compensation proportional to schedule • Comprehensive full-time benefits • 5 weeks vacation annually • J-1 visa waiver sponsorship available
Technology Designed to Reduce Burnout
We use LumaMDX, a physician-designed AI workflow platform that reduces documentation and administrative work through:
• AI-generated longitudinal patient summaries • Ambient AI documentation integrated with prior notes • AI-enabled clinical workflows • Ask Luma AI assistant for staff questions, letters, and other administrative tasks
The goal is to give physicians more time for medicine and less time for documentation.
Physician-Owned, Physician-Led
AO Multi Specialty Clinic is a physician-owned multi-specialty group serving Georgia and South Carolina, with Rheumatology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, Urology, APPs, pharmacy and infusion services across 5 locations.
Why Aiken?
Aiken offers the quality of life of a smaller Southern community while being part of the greater Augusta-Aiken region. It is known for its historic downtown, equestrian tradition, beautiful neighborhoods, mild climate, low cost of living, and outdoor recreation.
This is an opportunity to build the rheumatology practice you want in an underserved market—with the infrastructure and specialty support of an established regional group behind you.
If this sounds interesting, I would welcome a confidential physician-to-physician conversation.
